Attention all Club Members
The Pylon season is just around the corner
We are racing the new e-racer that is built out of foam board.
The Plane is designed to give every racer an equal chance of snagging a win.
Our First Race is Sunday April 27th. But we are holding a practice on April 6th.
If you are interesting in building a plane the plans are on this web site.

I have a full set of patterns cut to help speed the build. Drop me an e-mail at cerino@comcast.net, if you want some help.

May 17th race recap

It was Challenging spring trying to get a day to race. Rain on one Sunday and wind the next forced us to postrpone the first two races until May. We aggreed to try to run both races with the 7 pilots who came out to compete.

The wind was blowing from right to left, and it was strong enough to cause several pilots to miss the turn around the right pole. Two cuts equal a disqualification, and there were many. Frank, who usually dominates the circuit, came away with zero points twice in the first race. However, he refocused in the second race and was back to leading the pack in every heat. John had his wing clipped in the second heat of the second race and had to hot glue his tail and package tape his wing, but he was able to get airborne and compete, finishing second in the final heat. Skip opted to not race in the second race.
