Our 2025 Electric Pylon Racer.

This is Our 2025 Electric Pylon Racer Plane that we have plans on Racing this season. The plane Build can be viewed on our Blog page, and the link below has all plans and build notes for download.

Attention all Club Members
The Pylon season is just around the corner
We are racing the new e-racer that is built out of foam board.
The Plane is designed to give every racer an equal chance of snagging a win.
Our First Race is Sunday April 27th. But we are holding a practice on April 6th.
If you are interesting in building a plane the plans are on this web site.
https://www.neprcc.club/club_40_pylon_2
I have a full set of patterns cut to help speed the build. Drop me an e-mail at cerino@comcast.net, if you want some help.

Race Recap Sept 14th 2025.
We held our first fall race on September 14th. It was an almost perfect day with bright sunshine and a low to moderate right-to-left breeze. We fielded seven pilots. Skip was still running his glow-powered plane and won a race heat when all the hotshot electric pilots DQ’ed. All the pilots are now running 9-7.5 prop as the maximum allowed. Charging Charlie overcontrolled his green machine and put it nose in on the first race. He had more trouble with his backup plane in the last heat because he put the used battery in the plane and had to land after 7 slow laps. These races move along and in less than 2 hours we were putting the poles away. Our next/5th race is scheduled for October 12. Potentially, we will move the last race of the season to October 19, or 26 from the scheduled November race.
